Isabelle is an alumnus of New York University School of Law and graduate of Duke University where she majored in Arabic Language and Comparative Studies. She is a New York attorney currently building a small business and start-up practice which is focused on economic inclusion of traditionally underserved BIPOC and LGBTQ+ founders. Her work has increasingly focused on emerging technology, global trade, and financial inclusion--comprising publications, training, and talks at institutions such as the American Bar Association and American Society of International Law. An experienced litigator, researcher, UNHCR alum, and U.S. State Department alum, she brings a rich background in international law and human rights. She speaks French, Arabic, Spanish, English, and Haitian Kreyol, and has lived and worked in Yemen, Haiti, Jordan, Morocco, and the Dominican Republic. Isabelle leads the South South’s Innovation and Strategy.
Melissa is a graduate of the Msc. in Data and Society with distinction from the LSE and a current Msc student in the department of Behavioral Sciences. Prior to the LSE, Melissa worked in management consulting and strategic advisory developing more inclusive global macroeconomic policies for Fortune 500 companies in alignment with the SDGs. Melissa also draws from a rich background of interdisciplinary scholarship including prior studies at Harvard’s Law School and Kennedy School of Government along with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, she holds an additional Masters in International Relations. She speaks Farsi and English and has worked in economic development to the benefit of Kurdish populations through tenures at Columbia University, UNICEF, and The Institute for Policy Studies. Melissa leads our Technical and Business functions.
Rachel is an anesthesiologist currently completing a residency in Miami. She is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the International Anesthesiologists Research Society. An innovator in healthcare and public service delivery, Rachel's research focuses on the use of technology to deliver medical care to traditionally underserved populations. Fluent in Haitian Kreyol, French, English, she has worked with Partners in Health to bring social medicine-based solutions to Haiti. Rachel leads the South South's Operations and Product Development efforts.
Rodolphe holds seven patents in routing technologies and is an expert in cloud computing. A veteran software engineer, he is an expert in emerging technologies including cloud computing and network protocols. Rodolphe is a technical and strategy advisor to the South South.
